Bathtub refinishing before and after: tubs, tile, sinks and showers kept instead of replaced

Real jobs in Austin-area homes and properties, photographed by our technicians. Find the one that looks like your bathroom: a stained or rusted tub, dated tile, a chipped counter, a cracked fiberglass floor, a jetted tub with the jets gone. Each one was refinished where it sat, most in a single visit, and none of them was torn out.

A one-of-a-kind tub, and a photo of what she wanted

The customer had a unique slipper tub that showed some neglect. She sent us a picture of the look she wanted, and we resurfaced the tub exactly as requested: gold outside, white inside.

She no longer wanted the jets

We removed the jets, fiberglassed and filled the holes, and resurfaced the tub as a soaker, with the tile deck and the shower next to it refinished in white to match. Much less expensive than replacing the tub, and a lot faster. How jet removal works.

A new tub, damaged on delivery

The customer called with a freestanding tub that arrived with a hole punched through the side. We repaired it and refinished the tub so it looked new, for a fraction of the cost of replacing it.
